Oh, I forgot to mention--got back into City of Heroes after almost a year. I'm not a CoH powergamer; I'm completely content to follow my husband around and shoot things. My character is a squishy ranged-striker high-DPS type, and he's playing a Scrapper. I really enjoy the teamwork aspect, even with two people: he runs in and attracts trouble, I deal damage from afar. I don't really have the experience/reflexes/savvy to do this with random groups, but my husband is used to my quirks (like my complete lack of direction sense) and doesn't mind steering me around, and besides, he gets plenty of time going on raids (or whatever you call them in this specific MMO) with other powergamer types when I'm occupied with things like writing.
I guess the thing I like about City of Heroes is that, like World of Warcraft, it's really friendly for casual play. I'm not good at learning games anymore, but the basics are pretty workable and once I have those down, I can feel like I'm contributing to the group. The teamwork aspect is what I really enjoy about multiplayer setups.
